This 5-7-5, Breadcrumbs from the Heavens, has the right set up and gives the readers a pseudo lesson in astronomy that we may not have heard before.

Thanx for the review, Bill -- appreciated as always. :)
Comment from Gail Denham
That's quite lovely. And creative. It opens up new thoughts about the moon, about how we view the heavens at night. Over here in Central Oregon, when we camp at one of the lakes we see a gazillion stars and the moon is vibrant.
I do like this poem.

Thanx for you wonderful review on this one, Gail -- just love being out 'in the country' and being able to view the heavens without artificial light in the way!! :) ;) Yvette

In a few short lines you've provided a lot of food for thought. Breadcrumbs. Such simple imagery and yet so powerful a message. We should never feel lost - just follow our heart and the tiny breadcrumbs we've left behind in the course of our journey. I really enjoyed this.

Good Morning, June! :) Thank you for these lovely comments, June, and, more than that, thank you for truly reading the poem and seeing meaning behind the words ... so very appreciated! :) ;) I apologize for the delayed response... as I mentioned yesterday, this end of the year is extra this year with family stuff, too! :) ;) Hope you have a wonderful week as it's finally gonna stay warm down here...so, let me know if I need to send some sunshine your way! :) ;) Take care! ;) Yvette

What a delightful concept.
The night sky holds such fascination as the magical sky-scape is recreated in an ever changing form each night.
I often wondered how the elements of this wonderful show re-incarnated in repetition.
Now I know-- Magic and clever forward planning. Lol.
Delightful
Blessings

You are very welcome, Yvette. No problem about a delayed response. Hope everything works out okay; at least the stress of the
school year will end for you soon. Weather is erratic here, but today looks sunny for the moment. Have a good rest of your week, too.

An interesting way to perceive this factor, breadcrumbs paving a trial back, delighting aspects of a probable home, enjoying your view of this occurrence.

Is one of your son's starting a website? LOL? 123rf.com per chance? LOL - or were you the lucky person that couldn't find a moonbeam and stardust to accompany this beautiful 5-7-5 without all their wonky work all over it? LOL Beautiful Teacher - I swear they are getting so intrusive in their sharable artwork out there on the net huh? It is getting so dog eat dog! MRW and CQ we will need to start sharing some of our gem picture sites that we find because they are getting more and more scarce by the day! And I love Fanstorians don't get me wrong - but just to try and find a music note - OMG - it was like pay this royalty or have every name all over the note - I guess ads have to get in where they can fit in huh? I just found it funny for such a dainty poem to have the 123RF all over it... I had to make a joke, now if your sons are hosting a site, lets please get a discount!!! Seriously! Cheers, Fonda

LOL! Naaaaaah, I just don't have enough damn hours in a day to worry about little details (which I usually spend lots of time getting just the right image!!!!) and it took waaaaay too long to find this one!! ;) ;) Wish I could help in that respect, but I'm afraid I have to search the large abyss of the internet for each post, too!! :) ;) Take care out there, Lady F, and thanx so very much for your support! ;) :) Yvette

I love the imagery of your words, even without the artwork. You've used so few words to pack in a lot of substance. I'll always look at moonbeams like this now.

What a lovely way of putting this, a truly left field post, that leaves me quite intrigued, it's the sort of imagery that shakes the dust and cobwebs from the recesses of consciousness. Well done Yvette, nothing boring about you dear friend, well done, blessings, Roy

This is a great contest entry YM. Good job on the syllable count per line. Your well-chosen words create super imagery. The picture is a great pairing with your words, too. Best wishes. Jan
