There's a very relaxing scene in this poem. It's too bad that I'm not that good at relaxing--I just get bored doing nothing. Overstimulation isn't good and you need to rest afterwards, but understimulation isn't good either.

I love this escape slanted poem. I too like to slink away when the noise gets loud and the TV only shows discordant fusses. You did a really good job on descriptive presentations in this ... well done.

You have poetically described such a lovely scene of peaceful tune-out. Rhyming "riot" and "quiet" in the last stanza really brings it home as a sanctuary.
