A very well-written 5-7-5 suite about the sweet oatmeal pie. I live homemade sweets the best andeal I will definitely give it a try some time. It sounds just like something we mighf enjoy.

According to the rating system, a four-star is god but needs mechanical/grammatical corrections and a three star is even lower to be a below average poem. This is very clever. You draw the reader in with your description, appetite and all. You also present the recipe without being obvious. It's as of you know the reader will easily fill in the blanks. This is a fun and yummy write.

Somehow, 'oatmeal' and 'pie' together don't juice my jets, but I'll take your word that it's delicious. Raisins aren't my favorites, either. I guess I'm picky.
Despite my salivary bias, your poem is a winner.
You left the raisins out of your recipe. On purpose?

Sounds delicious. Good 5-7-5 syllable count. Excellent rhyme for lines 3, 6 and 9. Thanks for sharing the ingredients and recipe in the author notes. A great entry for the sweets contest.
