Hi Debra. How cute and funny. Kids say some cute things. Your meringue looks festive and delicious for Easter. A very nice Whitney that brought a smile. Marilyn

Oh and I was giving YOU credit for that clever title-LOL. Lovely desert as well as an original poem about it. Looks like a perfect dish for Easter and seems to be a popular one in the family.

-This was too cute to
pass up, Debra.
-The dessert looks
tempting, and I love
your author notes.
-You have an imaginative
daughter, and I commend you
for making the dessert
in the morning!
-Effective imagery and
rhyme in your poem.
-What did you call this
before your daughter
renamed this?
-Thanks for sharing.

Hi Pam :) Thank you for your lovely feedback. I appreciate it!
Before Rebecca renamed this pud Boom Meringue, it was just a plain old meringue nest!
Best wishes, Debra :)

You are very welcome. I had to laugh at the names. You have a very creative daughter; does she take after her mom?!

Well the easter bunny has obviously been busy around your house! Love the light hearted feel of this whitney and title is awesome! That pudding does rather look delicious in both picture and your whitney description, so much so you just want to dive into the VDU and lick the screen (static shock just adds to the tingling feeling) but do not fear as I detest meringue, so I might only nick a candy egg from the top! I can see we can add cooking to the list of brilliant thing you can do!

Hi Debra -
Boom Meringue - what a fun name for a dessert! It look scrumptious!
Nice job on your Whitney, each line bears the correct syllable count.
Much more interesting than a stick that comes back when you throw it! :)

ooooohhhh. Can I come to dinner please? That looks so good. I love meringue - and chocolate eggs. I'm not sure where Rebecca got 'boomerang' from but 'Boom Meringue' fits well :)

mmmmm does that ever look good. I love a good cake. You a baker? Heard of a chocolate Mayonnaise cake. One of the best for sure. Online I would imagine. Cute and explicit poem. Can almost taste it

I love meringue nests and always eat them when I'm in England. They are not easy to find over here.:(
Your dessert look lovely and your poem is beautiful as usual.
Thanks for sharing.

This is charming, delightful. I was definitely curious when I read the title. Children's language creations are often exactly right. The poem is very well done and with the picture, delicious.
