Thanks for sharing your ideas and 'recipe', Sankey. This would be good for anyone regardless of gluten-free dieters. I like how you instructed readers. The picture does seem to show a little overdoing on the toppings, but I bet both tasted great. Thanks for sharing. Jan

Trouble is seeing over - done on the topping a bit sloppy for eating Thanks for coming along. These were way back in the beginning of the Pizza cooking adventure.

My husband uses a frozen one with a cauliflower crust. It's not bad and it's gluten free. Thank you for sharing your ideas with us. I like hearing how you're doing.

The pizza looks good but being Coeliac sounds like a lot of work and a pain in the you know what. Glad I don't have to worry about that. I am sure many will appreciate your recipes since being Coeliac sounds like something you don't mess with or eat the wrong foods.

Yeah mate and also Type 2 Diabetic in the equation. The pizza was way back and lots more topping I have now regulated better. Too much topping not good for a whole lot of reasons makes for sloppy eating as well. Thanks for the great review. How are you doing with the e-mails?

Being coeliac still sounds like a lot of work.

Yeah well back in the old days sorry if I shared before...a friend of my wife's Sis in law was Coeliac... way before it became a "trendy fad" diet thing with some. When he wanted to go out with a group to a restaurant he had to call them 2 weeks before, to make sure they had Gluten Free for him on the night. As a friend from Tx posted a while ago, the fad diet folks have actually helped those of us genuinely diagnosed Coeliac have more choices in what we can eat. Might do a post on that too. It does involve looking at the Ingredients on packaging in stores for stuff with which you are unfamiliar, initially. So yes can be involved.

This is interesting. In the past, I've only ever considered Pizza as a drop-in cafe meal, or as something that's delivered by someone on a scooter. Looking in the supermarket for Pizza bases and preparing my own is something that never occurred to me. And, of course, a self-prepared Pizza will naturally include all the ingredients of my favorite topping. How the simply things in life pass you by -- until someone opens your eyes and points you in the right direction.

Thank you. Your short "ramble" has already got me thinking of the possibilities :)

This sounds a really nice recipe. Our daughter-in-law in Ireland is coeliac. Luckily there now seems to be a lot more knowledge about it and dozens of ideas for tasty recipes.

Thank you for the recipe here but this looks like heart-attack food to me, being gluten free is fine, but it also needs to be healthy too. The combination of pizza bases, cheese and fried food is a recipe for disaster! Sorry to say this but it is true, how's your waste-line? There again some may think this is great! Love Dolly x

Glad you?re watching your health and I expect being type 2 diabetic you need to watch the calories too, I wish you well, love Dolly x

Thanks Dolly. BS Levels up a bit...not serious but seeing I no longer take the Metformin or Dibex (same Med different name)Diabetic meds (due to kidney damage from them) I must do the walks to compensate and I have not walked in a couple of days! Hence raised Blood sugar levels. As I said not serious just not as low as I like.

Pizza chef extraordinaire! This one sounds like a winner. There seem to be more and more people unable to process gluten these days. Many of our BnB guests are on gluten-free diets.

Thanks for the great review. Have you come across Roy Owens yet.Fellow Bible Basher from South Aussie? Glad to hear you are able to acquiesce to your guest's dietary needs. I have discovered some delightful options even some that contain no wheat but may have been manufactured on same equ8ipment as Gluten products. One range is Coles Brand Freezer Australian Royal Potato variety where the only item containing Gluten in their complete range is the Beer Battered Chips. They are not in the Gluten Free area because as I said probably made on the same equipment as Gluten options. A friend who was dabbling in Gluten free due to her Hashimoto ailment (Thyroid) told about them. Trouble is, not all Coles stores have them in stock completely. I might write about that too.
