I was indeed starting to worry a bit about what had happened to you. I am glad to hear you are okay. I myself was off for a few days as well, but for other reasons. so much has been going on.
It seems your trouble with your smart (idiot) phone may never be fully over. I think they make them that way to mess with us. My children and even my young neices and nephew sometimes have to help me figure out what the heck I have done to mess up mine.
Glad to see you are well.

At least I have Nacho but I think he is getting tired of me calling him for help.

I must have missed something. Are you and Nacho friends again? Last I heard he was still upset with you over the loan situation. I am glad things have apparently worked out.

Yes, we are friends again.

What a nightmare this must have been. My husband has a mobile phone and we have a landline but that's all. I guess one day I'll have to give in and get a mobile.
I've listed the spags I found below:
You all know you can not do anyting online with out your passwords. - spelling - anything - 'with out' should be one word.
I finally confinced Tom - convinced
I lost all my favorite sites, paswords, - passwords
they argued with me for seveal days, - several
For some reason I couldn't even log into my email account, it kept telling me it did not exist. - period after 'account'
I still am having trouble loging - logging

Thanks for catching the spags. I think I fixed them all.

I have been so busy all day, but I saw that you had a couple of posts and I could not wait til my work day was done and I could see what you have been up to. I hate technology--phones, computers, anything like that. They are fine as long as they work, but they so often break and ruin my day.
Fanstory stopped working for me last week. I was using Safari. It works fine on Chrome. It's the reverse for my gmail. It works fine on Safari, but Chrome says that I don't have a gmail account.
Hope you are having a better day in your next post.

I am still having a little trouble getting into my email, but Nacho is coming by to take a look at it. I hate Microsoft and their unwanted updates.

You keep speaking for me...volumes!
I'll never be able to keep up, let alone ahead of all this new and amazing life making easier technology. I have enough trouble trying to remember what I did with my credit card that just up and disappeared right here in my own house! Next day I lost my debit card. No lie!
My pswds have become so complicated because every time I have to get a new one I'm told that it's too close to the old one. I can't remember a darn thing these days without the pswd record sheet. Then you don't dare type wrong. That's a whole other problem.
Gotch'er back on that typing with old, or fat, or arthritic fingers on flat tiny screens. Can ya hear me scream?

The tiny keys with big fingers is what drives me crazy. Who designed those darn things?

That's a great description of the technology and how it effects (or is it affects) all of us. Terrific work with this one. I got a real kick out of it.

Smiles...welcome home!

I think they are just trying to drive us crazy and doing a great job at it.

This latest blast covers the modern problems our new way of communicating causes. I am ready to update my computer and expect to be lost to the world as well for several days.

I will never use the word 'update' again after this last fiasco. Microsoft sent me another notice asking me if I wanted another update and I said "Absolutely not!"

So glad you are back,Sasha. I was beginning to worry about you. Things that are supposed to be smart keep me confused. I guess maybe I'm not smart enough. Sorry about your blood pressure. But no wonder it's high.

It was high before the purchase of the smart phone but trying to post with one really sent it higher.

Well, glad to see you back, dear friend. A break in routine, though sometimes good, can often lead to a panic. Good to see common sense and patience coming to the fore.
Now we can look forward to more of the things we have come to love with these rambles.
My best wishes.

I don't recall any common sense appearing during my unwanted hiatus.

I assumed you were taking a bit of a break in writing to focus on healing yourself. I am glad to hear you were able to reconnect to FanStory. (In the second paragraph, "convinced" picked up an "f".) Best wishes in regulating your blood pressure and good luck with your email account--I hope Nacho can be the conquering hero! -Joan

No, being locked out of FanStory is not something you ever want to experience.
