Absolutely love trifle -- make a few every summer -- usually make mine with run, gonna have to try the pears and sherry!! ;) ;) This was a wonderful and mouth-watering entry for the contest, Magic Dragon -- so glad you joined us in our pursuit of poetry yumminess! ;) ;) Y.M. :)

I am so disappointed. What a greedy guts, you left nothing for me. I will lick the bowl, because this is my favourite treat too. You made it sound oh so yummy.

A poem and a recipe all rolled into one. How delectable! Glad you remembered the touch of sherry - a very necessary ingredient! May your suite of sweets be to the taste of the judges!

This was a good write. I really liked the flow of it and, of course, the imagery which was aided by the picture and completed the presentation. Good job.
