I am sure I am repeating myself, but I apologize for the short reviews because I still have 112 messages left in my inbox and desperately need to rebuild my pumps and funny money I lost while not being here. I watched this on television and was overwhelmed with shock at the horrific fire. this is a marvelous chapter in your book on giving, for NaPoWriMo Day 15

A very well-written poem in honor of the Note dame cathedral's devastating fire that destroyed the more than eight hundred year building with millions of damages.

It's crazy how a date can have so many horrible things happen on it. It is also my nephews birthday so I guess it does have one good thing going for it. You did great with this tribute

Thanks for sharing this news story in verse and how these major terrible events all occurred on April Fifteenth. I didn't know. Good job with the acrostic, Kim!

A very current and very sad subject for this poetic piece. Your afterword was much enjoyed to, as it has been heartwarming to see the unified response. Also interesting and disquieting to note the things that have happened on this date.

April 15th appears to have been a bad day in general with that history. Your poem came wonderfully. You are truly a loving individual with a big caring heart. I was touched by your written emotional journey of the event. Excellent verbiage. Nice alliteration of E-words at the end. Good use of the consonances -ed and -ity. Beautiful work.

I won't try and emulate this. I am posting my own contribution to this conflagration this evening at around 1.00 pm Eastern as an entry into the six word poetry contest.

Beautiful reminder of the event that brought us all to such reality about life. Your gentle flow and well placed rhyme brought a heart felt link of all the world to watch this sad occurrence. Beautifully written.

Good poem. I have seen great numbers of poems submitted here that are about the cathedral. Good to know we have writers that stay current. Good job! I love it.
