Thanks for sharing another poem on this important topic.
I didn't know April was child abuse prevention month.
Your presentation is perfect to reflect the confusion some children feel.

A great form to show the chaotic thoughts of a child trapped in this no win situation. Current and relevant for the month. Very eye-catching for the reader and made one pay attention to get in order.

Thanks for sharing the century. Narcissism is a terrible problem for anyone to experience, especially a child who is totally defenseless. Everyone needs to work together to spread the word about this problem.

A very well-written heartfelt poem. It is very sad that children who are innocent has to deal with their parents insecurities while growing up without a very small chance of becoming a confident adult.

I applaud your message. It's timely, strong, and relevant.

Forgive me, but I wonder if your presentation distracts from your message. To me, it reads like a puzzle rather than a serious condemnation of abuse. Sometimes messages are lost in the trappings.
Just one man's opinion.

Peace, Lee

Thank you for your kind review. It IS a puzzle for the child/ren left wondering what they did to get punishment or abuse, That was my rationale for displaying the words that way, but I respect your opinion, no forgiveness needed on either side

The way you spaced your words and colored them for emphasis carries a lot of impact. It shows how shattered and confused a life of abuse must be. Great presentation.

This is so true! I feel for the child who doesn't have a mentor or parent worth copying. The picture of narcissism at the top is different yet effective. You brought up an excellent point that I have not thought of before... A child is trying to form self-worth and find their identity, at the same time their parent is fighting them on it. I am reading a book about foster kids and abuse they eventually overcome.
Sad but real. This is an important write and truth.

Your erratic jaggedy colourful presentation is a very good summary of the issue of child abuse. It covers the emotions children have to deal with when under the impact of toxic parenting.
