Hi Misty,

Oh, my gosh)! This was an action-packed, entertaining chapter. As always, yout writing is flawless. I am wondering if his wife has a gun and is going to shoot the intruder. Thanks for sharing. Jan ~~hanging off a huge cliff here... lol

Hi Misty. this is another great chapter and I was kept in suspense all way through. I just wonder how much more Jeff has to go through, and what about his poor wife? All best. Ulla:)))

Thank you so much for your kind review, I'm so glad you enjoyed this chapter. With the intruder knocking on his car window, this may be the end for Jeff. That would put Julie and the girls in harms way.

Thank you for your fantastic review, I'm honored. True, they might even use him to catch the bigger fish, but will the cops be able to save Julie and the girls before Bambini or Luigi gets to them?

Great chapter, Mistydawn. I don't know how much more poor Jeff can take of this. My heart felt like it was in my throat when read the last part. Great job. One small nit: The course (coarse) rope cuts deep into her skin.

Thank you for your kind review and for catching my mistake. I'm glad the story has you on the edge of your seat, lol. Things only get worse for Jeff from here. Poor Julie, has to face down an intruder on her own with the girls upstairs. Not good either.

Will they catch Jeff after all, and everything just a ruse to get him to perform these protection crimes, Rachel nearly sets Joe on his bottom with her "c'mon" gesture. Will Julie prosper with her escape attempt? Well done excellent episode. Blessings, Roy

Thank you so much for your kind review and catching my mistakes. Poor Jeff and Julie are in a heck of a mess. Joe, well, he's so love struck it isn't even funny.

PS. My buddies the yellowjakets, were gone for two days, cold weather, but now their back full force. I imagine they laugh their little butts off when they see me run in the house. Probably brag to their friends.

Good story about a poor guy forced to do dirty work for a mobster. On top of that the dude has a little accident. Not a very good day was it? Thanks for sharing your writing. Bill

Thank you so much for your kind review, I'm glad you enjoyed this chapter. Poor Jeff isn't cut out to be a criminal. The first he vomits everywhere now he's peeing on himself.

Oh, no! Don't tell me he'll be caught! What will happen to his family? Why did Luigi want Jeff to steal a measly hundred dollars anyway? Just toying with him, torturing him for fun? What a sicko. Hand me a gun. I'll shoot the jerk right now!

Thank you for your kind review. It wouldn't be good for the family if he's arrested, that's for sure. It wasn't Luigi it was Bambini, personally, I think they both should be tortured and shot.
