A very wel-written rhyming poem about the fun and games we can have at the beach, but the sting of a jellyfish is not fun. I am in for the ice-cream part.

I enjoyed your rhymed quatrains detailing a beach day. Did you actually get stung by a jellyfish? I am glad you saved the happier memories as well. Enjoy Florida beaches- Joan

Hi Alicia. You are at the library, but I thought you were at the beach! Your poem gives the reader a good description of a day spent swimming and enjoying the shore. Jellyfish scary--ice cream good. An enjoyable poem. Marilyn

Hi Marilyn! I just went for a walk on the beach, but it spun my creativity. I wanted to return, but there were things to do.

    Thank you.

Have a happy & safe 4th of July.

    Hearts & hugs,
    Alicia

This was a pleasant read, sunnilicous. It had a good flow to it and I could feel the sun, then the sting of the jellyfish (which has happened to me) and ice cream did follow. Great job.

Thanks for sharing about your time at the beach! I hope you recovered from that jellyfish sting! Some are poisonous. Maybe you needed that ice cream!

Hi! The jellyfish sting was years ago. I just walked on the beach. No swims this particular trip. Thank you :)

It's always the right time of day for ice cream. Why would a jellyfish sting make you brave? Your poem rhymed, made sense, and was entertaining. Very nice job.

Hi Earl. You have to touch the jellyfish to pull it off you. That could sting more... Yikes. Thank you
