If you allow yourself to delve too deeply into the abyss, you'll have one helluva time digging and clawing your way back out and into the light again.
But, with hard work and perseverance it's not impossible--it can be done.

My takeaway is love equals light and lonliness equals darkness. While it is very simplistic it works. 100 words isn't very much to work with. You were able to fit a beginning, middle, and end into it. Good job.
