LOL This reminds me of my eight year old grandson who bought a present for his dad that just happened to be something he was pining for himself. Sometimes people, no matter what age, cannot help themselves. :-)

Possibly Kato and Addison can become buddies. I hope they say out of trouble nd don't make it difficult for the rest of the family/ I can't believe Maggie's life has become a life of wonders.

One very small point:
"Yes." The answer was a chorus of both Kato and Koko, the latter looking up but briefly from his desk assembly. - I might have said 'from both....' but I doubt it matters.

I love the strange fellowship of the refuge. All worthy and imaginitive "inmates" , all worthy of their particular place in the function of the collective, although odd, and forced to accept each other, but really perhaps, should live apart, but isn't that collective humanity. Odd bods forced to "get on" because we need one another...hence a tendency to gossip, well done, blessings, Roy

An enjoyable yet informative chapter Yvette. It is amazing that things are pulling together as well as they are. All of the misfits really want Maggie and Addy to be comfortable and to feel at home. I was impressed the way Kato just stepped into control. You did a great job with this chapter.

A good chapter and just the right length for someone who is catching up. I can see Kato and Koko in my mind's eye! This is an intersection of characters whose connections I don't see just yet, but aI am sure I will in the upcoming installments. A new life for many, it seems.

Hey, there, Sal! ;) Thanx for trying to catch up -- with the release of the beginning of the next chapter, I'm gonna do one of those promotions that will pay your points/funnymoney for every previous section so just sit back and plan some time this weekend to catch up! ;) :) After that though, the author's life is going to explode and there will probably not be much until the end of May (got 3 grads, 2 'movings', and MORE!).
