The birds do look mean. I am glad the hummingbird escaped. It's always good to have fun with poetry. This is a good tanka.

"Shape shifting clouds" is what I would call it...I had to really search for some of your hidden list--but that's half the fun! Your Tanka clearly inspired you, sick or not, to keep up your creativity and sense of humor.

Obviously you had painted the picture first? Then created your Tanka? Or, vice versa? LOL
Your hummingbirds are not hidden from my view! They are spectacularly drawn.

Hi Pam, you should have gone to work for Highlights, making those hidden pictures that we all did while we were sitting in the Doctors offices as kids! :) Fun picture, and a sweet poem too! :) Feel better! Susan

Hi Susan. I am having horrific health issues. This year alone, I have several bad new ones and older ones getting worse. That is why I have not posted much. Am too sick to review much. I will use up What cent pumps I have and then probably leave the site. Thank you so much for your usual kind and thorough review
