Yes, it's easy to say I love you. But the important thing is to really prove it with our actions.
This is a lovely poem. I like your title very much and also the artwork. Very tender.
Thanks for sharing.

What a delightful pairing of poem and photo. And yes, love is there whether spoken or not. And mostly it's not spoken - we do know it. The only thing I wish I'd done was tell our boys more often how much they mean to us. how much I love them.

Love is not a word, it's a feeling or heart to heart emotions.
I like your photo of the man and his baby. Oh, what smiles
that share with each other. Love knows and cares. flylikeaneagle

What lovely sentiments expressed in a few short lines! It is so true. Love is more than a word. It means nothing if it is not backed by action. And love never fails if we truly show it and feel it - and know it. Thanks for sharing these pearls of wisdome.

A universal truth precisely composed in this poem. The picture along with it clarifies the rest. A piece worth reading. Thank you very much for sharing.

I do like the title, picture, and its meaning and your intent. But honestly I am a bit confused with your last two words "we it." Please explain if you choose to reply.
Maybe it is 'we sit.'? That makes sense as the adult looks with great feeling (of love) at the baby in his arms.
Thanks,
Mark

Thank you Mark for your support.
To answer your question "we it" is intentional. Think "we know it".

John,
I am OK with it! Consider adding an author's note to then explain your intent. I have no idea if other reviewers might similarly question your 'we it.'
Still did enjoy your verse and honest reply.

None of the other 16 reviewers have questioned it.
I appreciate your comment but I will let the verse explain itself.

A very well-written 5-7-5 about love that is not just a word but a powerful emotion that comes from within our souls and hearts, we cannot produce it at all, it is either present or not.

Nice poem and a nice picture to match.
Consider adding a period or semicolon or maybe a comma after "spoken" and a period or semicolon after "not" in line 2. Punctuation makes a reader pause just enough affect the meaning of the words.
