hmmm
strange. If, she had been a part of a wagon train that was attacked, and survived ... but you're saying she didn't survive, so it was her soul? that visited you? This is quite an interesting and remarkable story. It certainly caught the fancy of the FS readers. Congratulations for All Time Best.

Your story in a poem has an eerie feeling to it. Great rhymes to tell Jenny's tragic tale. I particularly liked the last stanza. Thank you for sharing.

The author's are heartfelt, sad, descriptive and creative. The dream or the
ghost where Jenny came from is filled with so many questions for me.
The author expresses this experience with in great detail and for me was emotional. The poem flows and connects well. The artwork is perfect!

Very nice job of combining a western and supernatural genre poem. This should have been a contest entry when you wrote it. Was this one of your first works here on Fanstory?

This is a mysterious and haunting story told in a poem. Jenny could have very well been a real spirit who came to you as a receptive, caring person who would believe her and listen to her woes. Hopefully, Jenny is at peace.

The poem is an example of lost souls still roaming the earth, yet unaware they are no longer part of the living world. It was perfectly told in perfect rhymes with rhythmic flow, and I enjoyed reading it. Well done, dear Willie.

Wow. Devastating story. This is a poem in which many families have to endure the pain and suffering of a missing child.
Lost, abandoned, or kidnapped, what ever the case your story was told with such vigor and seriousness.

Haunting tale told...
John

That was really sad. I hate to think of lost souls wandering in between life and death, not knowing they had died, or why they can't find their family. That little girl is one of many who died before her time, and who knows whether or not they are still wandering here on Earth. Excellent story in a poem. Well done. Sandra xx

Okay you have written a great poem. I loved it. I was not expecting the turn of events when the child was telling her story and that she had passed away. You have a great imagination. Do not stop writing.

Your words read like a mini movie. Your theme is unique and I like how the little girl is a ghost who is looking for her family. Excellent poetic form and use of words. You have a smooth poetic form and a smooth use of rhyming words.
