I love your lament on lost fees when you lose a contest through not adhering to the rules! We've all done it and feel robbed, but in the end it is our own fault for not understanding what we are entering into. Your sonnet is well written and my love of sonnets has to award you with my last six of the week because this is so well executed, loved the sentiments and the couplet sums up the poem perfectly! Wow, thank you so much for the fantastic review and the giant sixer, Dolly. It actually wasn't about me losing money because 'I' didn't adhere to the rules. It's about losing money because a piece worked its way through the committee's policing and ended up winning a contest when they didn't adhere to the rules. Lol.
