This is a well done free verse poem of a probably had by a lot of couples.
Hopefully they weren't married at the time. His using the reasoning for foregiveness is that he is just a man gives no hope that he will keep to his promise of not doing it again. I think she is smart to break it off.
I have just read that your brother has died. I am sorry to hear that. You and your family will be in my prayers.

Great artwork choice. Nice presentation. And this poem was such drama. I condone cheating in love relationships. I condone woman that stalk men that are taken and in successful love relationships. Jealous or envious women are not content in themselves. They want your man, your life, your work... anything they can their hands on but they weren't born into it or deserve it. I went through it with a fiance... And 20-years later, I still have to deal with the repercussion's.
Forgiveness can be difficult. The web of lies because of tramps and whores. It's a terrible thing to even think about. You know it well too from reading this poem.

HI Alicia, like you I condone cheating in any relationship...if you can't trust your partner...there is nothing there...years ago I went through it with my ex...and my husband passed never cheated...sigh...I know there are cases where some have forgiven...but do you truly trust again??...totally...thank you so much for a wonderful review...and I hope you have a great day...still raining here...three days later....love Linda xxoo

Love it. Guess he got his just deserts. I enjoyed this unique style and seeing both sides of the story. I also thought the imagery was great I could just picture the whole scene and it gave me a chuckle. Great job!
