If I read this without paying any attention to the -- to me -- unnecessary quotation marks or to your punctuation, correct the couple of "nits" along the way this is a really interesting poem. That means I read each stanza as pretty much a complete thought or expression. Read that way some of them are really good and you have made vast progress it seems to this reader from near incomprehensible compactions of pure grief and rage to these much more expansive and sometimes beautiful expressions.

This is so compelling and emotional. It must have taken a lot out of you to put in down on paper. There are so many beautiful lines. The line: "Once upon a time in a place in my heart," grabbed my attention right away.
