A beautiful poem well presented. I particularly liked you image you present in your first three lines. I'm not a poet, but when I find a poem I like, I read it multiple times. Yours three times, the last one aloud. Well done.

This appeals to me on so many levels. I love vintage anything - as I am Vintage myself. The poem reads like Robert Frost...extolling the beauty and virtue of nature.
here where is her heart
does depart
from all hustle and bustle
just easy movements with lazy thoughts
deep breaths of fresh air
as she dances with the ferns
Fave part, makes the reader sway with the poet's voice. Wonderful work!

Exceptional poetry, Linda. The beauty and calm it cptures in the reading is fantastic. I liked these lines in particular, my friend:
"just easy movements with lazy thoughts
deep breaths of fresh air
as she dances with the ferns
see how they take you there . . .
listen to the ferns"
Bravo, good job. Bob

Listen to the ferns - interesting idea - I often write about the trees - and the songs they sing, the stories they tell. For my money they do calm me when I see them dancing in the wind storm.
Nice poem. I like poems that respond to a photo or piece of art.

Ferns make a bouquet with their rich green colour and their soft leaves give the bouquet a delicate appearance, and they do wave when you see them in country lanes, you brought them to life with your write, love Dolly x

A very well-written poem about being more aware of nature so that we can see when something is not quite right in nature around us we will see the first signs in the plants.

This is very elegant and full of beautiful nature images. It flows well and has a nice rhythm and meter. You've painted a beautiful garden with your words and the picture is fitting to match. I love the pink roses and the colour combinations in your font and background. Wonderful to read and experience. I'm not sure the style of this poem but there are no capital letters to begin new sentences; was that intentional? I like the image of the ferns and the leafy greens, and the sun reaching up. All very poetic and inviting to the reader and draws my attention. Quite easy to read and visualize. It's all together pretty. Great!

The most beautiful ferns in the world are from New Zealand I believe. The punga tree is a giant fern. It's fern fronds are gorgeous
I can't wait to dance among the ferns and feel renewed
God bless...love your poem
