Nicely done. Your "one thin dime" phrase reminds me of "Brother can you spare a dime?" And as you say, generosity is so much more than money. These days time is much more precious.

Also, glist'ning is spelled glistening. The apostraphe is cute, but glist'ning is the only word in the poem. So there's no theme running. My edit note would be to add apostraphe's or none at all.

As is usually the case with an apostrophe in the middle of a word, it is to lose that one syllable, which adheres to the syllable count in each line of this poem. I appreciate your suggestion in the spirit it was given. Thanks!

I love the Pleiades poetry style. One of my favorite writing projects to date was creating a book of Pleiades with Pantygynt on a theme of dedicating each one (A to Z) on Greek and Roman mythology. I'm so glad you enjoyed this one!
