OH my lady I wish you had put these in, they are such perfectly done pieces and the ones so far have been a hoot. OOps there goes my age. This one is me. LOL

Ha ha, I've had the block for 2-3 months, so welcome to the club! You did the right thing, why not write about the block itself! This is why I didn't sign up for the poem a day thing :))

Debra this is a lovely Whitney poem and I do hope there will be no more fooling you ant that your pen will be put to paper and you are able to write many more poems.

    I'm planning on just writing one a day for the challenge... I only posted 2 yesterday as I wanted a prologue for the book I've created to keep them all together!

Me finks you are over finking this, just go with your natural ability and flow, then a poem everyday will come to you easily! April fool a writers block and yet ... not, as we have a poem laid before our very eyes! How did I fall for that one, eh? Golly gosh your darn good you are, like the milky bar kid, the jokes are certainly all on me :)

This rhyming Whitney, The Joke's On Me, has the correct framing and humorously pulls us into April with this send up to the national goof day.
