It is also a good heartfelt poem. Yes the feelings of lost is in everyone of us. Our parents or grandparents, a child not with us, a million tragedy's and a loved one lost. I sorry for your lost, but remember she is with you for you will see her smile in the young ones. This is a good entry for the Child's time with a grandparent contest.

This is such a tragic read. How sad for the family to go through something like this. I hope everyone is doing okay after this event. It feels so inadequate to even comment on this. My sympathies to the family.

This is such a common thing, I got curious and Binged it...2.7 million grandparents are raising their grandchildren in the US. The number increases every year, and the percentage of those under poverty level is about the same as the general population...excellent poem, though very sad...

A very well-written heartfelt and sad poem. A very young child who lose a parent find it very difficult to understand why their parent is not there anymore, when grandparents take the place of the parent it will help the child to adapt to life as normal as possible.
