Cheers, Damommy;
>The description being P&C is a very definitive and descriptive work With a concentrated choices that deliver the best alternative.
>Somewhat a melancholy piece of poetry where as any outcome is still a tedious and dire one wrether it be, otherwise.
> a train of thought's purpose is much like your premise in your poem, ["Is it a string of idea brought aboutby a planned endeavor,"].
>And I heard of a train of thought being like a sleuth's adding up the clues In a logical procession and linear theory.
>You did a wonderful job looking outside the box and taking the words many other meanings and displaying one and a philosophical commentary.
> Wonderfully done and I truly enjoyed.
> Take care and have a good one.

Good job with this interesting free verse poem. I believe most of our thinking is tangential, where we drift from one thing to another. On the other hand, when we hone in on a specific problem, we get a headache trying to figure out a solution. That's why sleeping on things usually brings a satisfactory solution. Marilyn

Well a train of thought is pretty organized so this is a wonderfully unique interpretation of the challenge.

Thinking is such a pleasure, if it works properly. lol

Great job Yvonne and a pleasure to read. :)

This flows well and the presentation is very good with the bolded font, font style, and colours, and picture to accompany it. I think separating it into two stanzas might help to put space between the poem and to help separate the thoughts; start a new paragraph/stanza after "Thinking?" (space) and then begin with "Maybe" to start a new stanza. The thought train in this poem is quite complex and requires deep thought but I think that's the poem's intent. It's a bit of a puzzle to crack but it fits the title well. An intelligent and clever read. Best,

Love the subject for this challenge. Trains fascinate me, and I often think of taking a train across the country, or maybe traveling by train in Canada. It sounds so exciting. That's where my train of thought took me! We want to catch that train of thought before what's on board gets away from us. Sometimes one thought can trigger a whole load of ideas. I like your analogy here. Great free verse. judi

If I don't write my train of thought down on paper immediately . . It is gone! Just like you say blown away in a breeze! I can identify with your words here, love Dolly x

Your poem on what it is that constitutes a train of thought is in itself a train of thought, where your ideas flow from one idea 'carriage' to another, the engine being the thought in the first place. I liked how you used abstraction and distraction.

Dear Author,
Your free verse poem is phenomenal! I share the questions you raised in your verses, which are similar to my own. I loved your ending and one needs to capture it before: "distraction" and "abstraction"--"blows it away". Brilliant!
My best,
Deborah
