Great writing, Ms. Shana. You really brought your characters, Roman and Lawrence to life with this chapter. You brought emotions into two tough and rough Breedline.
I wonder about Lawrence's sister. As a former guardian angel in another life, will she be able to find Lailah? I'm looking forward to finding out how this plays out.

You made my whole day! I'm glad you enjoyed the characters Roman and Lawrence. I had a fun time creating these two fellas. They are both big, strong masculine men, but still have a heart for true love. The perfect man, right?

So our rough-tough, fighting superman/Adalwolf watrrior, Roman Kincaid, who has seen inexplicably awful things in his lifetime, has been reduced to a slathering, moonstruck boy by Manuel's battling, holy fire battle Angel, Lailah. And really, Lailah is now an immortal angel who has already died, so what chance does he have. Hie close friend Lawrence perceives there's something wrong, and Roman "spills his guts" about her, as it turns has a sister, Melanie, who was once a guardian Angel. It's fun to write about two alpha-males that can still express their emotions and fall in love. This bond between Roman and Lailah is so romantic for me to write. It's like the old story of wanting someone you know you can never really have. I think we've all had that experience once in our lives.

Roman's character is all alpha-male except when it comes to true love. Now that he has met the angel Lailah, it's going to be tough. But who knows, maybe true love will come for him. There is always a possibility.

Yes, this story takes a turn for something different, but with lots of romance, mystery, and action. This one will also have some scary scenes. I do like a combination of everything added in a story to make it believable.
