I love this. It's so sweet. I miss spending time with my grandma. This makes me want to call her and tell her how much I love her. Very well written. I loved it.

This is a lovely poem and I can just imagine an excited grand-child chatting on ten to the dozen. I did wonder if the speech marks need looking at. For instance,in the following segment, I would have thought you'd only need speech marks at the beginning and end - but I'm not an expert. Good luck

This is a lovely poem and I can just imagine an excited grand-child chatting on ten to the dozen. I did wonder if the speech marks need looking at. For instance,in the following segment, I would have thought you'd only need speech marks at the beginning and end - but I'm not an expert. Good luck

This is such a lovely poem. I would hope that all our grandkids felt that way about me for example. All grandmas are different of course. Some stay busy and put their g.kids to work when they can. I used to hire my older g.kids to help me file photos and such - when I was doing that work.
My husband hired one of our grandsons a couple summers in a row to help cut, chop and split and haul wood. What a blessing that was - Morgan needed the money - we needed the help. He's of course one of our favorites but then I guess they all are.

This is a nice little poem that is full of innocence and is reflective of the special times spent together with a grandparent, through the eyes of a child.
I like the cartoon picture as well, notwithstanding that it is not human it shows that special connection.

The memories that your poem brings back. I loved spending time with my grandmother in her kitchen. All of the baking smells. My kids now get to spend that time with their grandmothers. Thanks for sharing.
