This 5-7-5 for a famous author, Children's Poetry, has the right set up and reminds us of Robert Louis Stevenson and the verse you cherished as the little one. The example you used is something I'll direct my grandchildren to as well.

I applaud you on this, as you fit the theme and included is very interesting history and foreign behind-the-scene. I also really enjoyed Illustrated books as a child the Bible was one of the first and then has Christian Andersen stories and Aesop's Fables and some favorite nursery rhymes a huge part of my childhood I still remember a lot of them.

I applaud you on this, as you fit the theme and included is very interesting history and foreign behind-the-scene. I too was a fan of Robert Louis Stevenson as a child, but my all time favorite was Treasure Island. I'm glad you shared your admiration for this great artist, because I'm going to check out some of his books right now. It's been a long time, and I know I'll enjoy them again!

This is a nice tribute to a renowned author. One who's work will live on for many generations to come. His early passing possibly robbed us some great literature, a tragic shame. His poem is so well-written, relatable, imaginative.
