I have a couple of phone books like that, and I've been trying to transcribe them into a new book. The fun part is trying to figure out which old, crumbling phone book still has which letter left. I transcribe the "a's" from one book, the "c's" from another, and I can't find my "b's" anywhere. Obviously, you've written a relatable poem, made funny by the fact that it's so true. It flows smoothly, your rhymes work well, and it definitely brought a chuckle of recognition. Good luck in the voting.

oh my - you should see my poor address books - two of them - and I dread the day when I must clean them up - write the names and numbers out so I can read them - or find them. Actually, truth be told, I've kept all the old address books too - and saved my mom's as well. Just can't bear to toss them out.

I also hoard all address books, diaries etc. can't seem to throw anything out. Thanks so much for the review.

ah...the fate of hoarders - cuz that's what I call myself, on days when the clutter (clean underneath but cluttered) makes me a bit crazy. hmmm?

Doesn't everyone have one of these phone books with outdated information. LOL I know I do. A funny poem. Nice rhythm and rhyme. Interesting artwork. I guess that is the person with the outdated phone book. Good luck in the contest.
