That sure wasn't me as a kid but having been a pre-school teacher, I know lots of little girls who could relate. The image you've created with words is great fun and you've followed the rules perfectly. Good luck.

Thank you for positively my poem and for joining in the fun. I grew up in Africa and enjoyed climbing trees and playing in the mud.

This is a delightful poem and a great contest entry. I do have one suggestion though, squelching means to stop something, Maybe you meant squishing? The image you've selected to display is absolutely adorable. The little girl is surely delighting in pie-making material. Ha ha! Thanks for sharing and good luck in the contest. Jan :-)
