Ciao Mystery poet ,
I gave you your third vote.
For a couple of years I had a blackbird visit my garden at 700 m.
I loved it's glossy black feathers and that dark orange beak was cool ..
He became quite daring and would fly in and jump very close to me but he always had a watchful eye on me.
He was even cheeky with my cat..teasing him..

Like both picture and verse
'Warbles' is so descriptive.
You got in your colors: light, black, and golden!
Good luck in this writing prompt contest.

Dear Author,
I enjoyed your Lune Poem at dawn. Your picture takes me to the setting and this bird seems so stoic! I love the word choice or "golden timbre"! Lovely!
My best in this contest,
Deborah
