I love the dog picture. Rottweilers make good guard dogs, but they can be just a big baby. I think it was very sweet that Logan went to the store to get groceries and made Mac something to eat. Logan is another looks mean, but is a big softy. I love that Mac called him a pain in the butt. Logan is smitten and I think he would do anything to protect Mac at this point. Very well done edition to your story.

Hello Barb
I like the way you got my interest in this chapter about it seems to me Logan is getting more determined to figure who murdered McKenzie sister.
Do I see a new romance brewing between Logan and McKenzie?

I do hope Logan can be st ease with the dogs. It looks like the story is progressing at a good pace. Your descriptive writing keeps everything clear, and you dialogue is appropriate.

I love Edgar, tho I do think Goliath is a better name. Mac is smart to have such a scary dog since she lives alone. The dog won't protect her from Logan, though. I have a feeling he'll find his way into her heart. :)

I love your style of writing. One can always look for a dog or dogs involved. From special investigators falling off cliffs and befriending couple of dogs and a girl and romance finds away to mysterious paintings bringing love to the top of things and now we dive deeper in the water of mystery. You are an excellent novelist.

This is excellent. You handle all the angles well. There seems to be a budding romance going although they don't know it yet. I enjoy the introduction of the dogs. They add interest. Someone really wanted to harm Mac. Mac talks to Logan about her mother and father being murdered. This could have something to do with the attack on Mac. The man who was accused died in prison, but maybe the wrong man was charged with the murders. That might be one explanation for Mac being a threat to someone. judi

I like this a lot so far. Give me a couple of dogs and a cute guy and I am along for the ride. You keep the action to a reasonable amount - no flowery overkill. It is a comfortable pace for the reader and you left us with a mystery. Very good writing!

Hi Barbara, now, I think y=this was a great chapter. it consolidates a few things and I liked the interaction between Logan and Mac. We also learn about the parents traumatic death. Loved the scene with the dog. All best. Ulla:)))
