Yes yours is the second June that I've read and I am very sad about this as New Zealand is a beautiful place, and I am heartsick over the tragedy. This is absolutely awful. What I said in the last review I will say here as well, they are not human they do not have any understanding of pain and suffering or a conscious. I will now have to try to get through my evening of reviews knowing more tragedy in the world has happened. Usually, I keep myself away from the news as it triggers my anxiety. This is very sad. Thank you for writing another poem that exposes the situation. Fonda

Of course, we, in Australia witnessed the plight of these most unfortunate circumstances unfold, but what we're just a few tragic deaths, turned into 40, they have gun laws, but not as tight as Australia. So they don't know the extent of ownership, such a tragic thing for a child to witness, and innocence lost is a consequence, by what right do they think they can do these things, beautifully and sensitively written June, well done, blessjngs, Roy

This prime rondeau, Loss of Lives, Loss of Innocence, is well suited for this alarming tragedy that has brought the sick world of extremist to the relished peace of New Zealand.

One can only pray children never witness the death of their loved ones. We experience this tragedy from a distance as grandma is shot. Your first stanza vividly describes what the child saw and heard and what she remembers most--grandma's smile. Even when Mom comes to her rescue, what is the child still seeing? A very good rondeau, June, commemorating this terrible tragedy in New Zealand.

Thank you for writing this for them. When will the insanity end! These were not soldiers or zealots, just people exercising their right to worship in their mosque. Hate grows every day...worming into the diseased minds of people who are diseased. Let us all pray for solace and peace.

No child should ever witness the gunning down of their parent by a madman. My heart aches for those children who lost a parent in the awful incident.
