A lovely tribute to the madness one man caused in New Zealand. Lovely and emotional refrain line, very nicely penned June.

Sometimes things like this happens and small children witness and do not quite understand.it is a shame this happens way to often.People do not realize the impact this has on the young children. It scars them for life.

Nice of you June. Yes been following the story. I like the imagery created by grandmother, it seemed to lessen the reality of the terror .
Just on my way back from absence when learning also about Brooke.
Wishing you a pleasant evening.

A very well-written poem about the devastating attack on innocent peoplemail who wento for praying at their holy temple. We all want other's to respect and honor our believes, we can in turn respect their beliefs too.

Those images will be plastered in the children's eyes and minds forever. What a horrible thing. It is hard to believe there are human beings who could do such a thing. A nightmare of the largest proportion. God bless the victims and their families. Nancy:)

What a horrible thing and I heard the shooter has it on video and this video has circulated and you can see him kill all these people. How awful. I can't imagine and to be so young. There are no words and I wish things like this never happened

Hi, June,
Thank you for trying to write something to make some sort of sense out of the tragedy of the shooting. It makes me sad, mad, and ultimately hopeless. These people hadn't done anything to deserve this and neither have any of the people killed in all of the terrorist actions all over the world.
Thank you for sharing,

June, This was a very good poem you have penned for the potlatch challenge about the horrible tragedy in New Zealand. You used very good words and very good imagery from the art work you chose. That was so sad to me. Thanks for sharing. love and blessings Teri

You did a great job with your rondeau prime, June. What a horrific event to focus on. However, you wrote a poignant poem. Good job on its style. your Lines read smoothly, the rhymes are good, and the storyline flows well. Thanks for sharing and caring. Jan
