This is the chapter I have been waiting for...the beginning of the revelation of her inheritance. Love the reappearance of the cats. They are such wonderful creatures. I get along very well with them. :-)

I decided to wait until Sunday morning to review your new installment. Of course, that's when I got some six stars back.
My favorite part of this chapter is the cat fight at the end. The appearance of the cats at the window probably has some significance, which is lost on me, but I love that laughter than the cats bring on--especially the laughter of Eduardo.
With Mom living with us, I've had to watch a lot of episodes of Alice lately. I can just hear your Rachal saying "kiss my grits." She is a great character.
My only suggestion for change has to do with the following two expressions:
on full display as per her usual
That didn't mean anything, per se,
I'd take out one of the "per se". Maybe even both of them
I really enjoyed this chapter. It wasn't as complicated as the former, and I could just read for fun.

My favorite part of this chapter is the cat fight at the end. The appearance of the cats at the window probably has some significance, which is lost on me, but I love that laughter than the cats bring on--especially the laughter of Eduardo.

Yes, the cat thing does .. but, at this point, it's more of a tiny breadcrumb so just hold onto it, but it was still fun to write! ;) :) You know, when I first put Rachal in my head, I could see Flo as well -- so funny that we think like that together! :) ;) Took care of the changes...easy fixes, but thanx for the suggestions! ;) ;) So glad you relaxed and enjoyed...first thing in the morning, I'm gonna set my brain back into book mode...would be easier to do if the weather were warmer (I do love the warm weather's effects on my 'psyche' ... LOL! :) ;) But, hey, it's sunny so beggars can't be choosers and all that, right?! :) I appreciate your saving stars for me, MQ -- you rock! :) :) And glad to hear your mom's doing well .. that's a small comfort at least on that front... take good care down there and I'll be in touch this week I'm sure! ;) ;) Yvette :)

It was a great touch to add the cats and their frolics outside the window. It was a bit of distraction but provided a great ending before we all find out who the two gentlemen are although I do think we already know. Fantastic reading.

Don't worry, the 'distraction' does have a purpose...it's just one of those MANY breadcrumbs we fantasy authors drop along the way! :) :) And, yes, you do know the gentleman...they started out the beginning of this chapter having lunch together... :) :) Thanx for stopping in! ;) ;)
