Dawn, I wish you had posted a link to your poems. Brooke's words are too extraordinary for me to express. I'm feeling so sad right now, sad for Brooke's family, sad for the loss of my loved ones.

    Hi Lou,

I don't know why, or what I am perhaps doing wrong, but I have never been able to share a link to my individual pieces -- I once asked Tom about it. I know we are able to because other members have sent me theirs. If you send me instructions, I will try again, but in the meantime, here is my Facebook link: https://www.facebook.com/dawn.munro.92 I've just spent the last hour assembling some of the things I've written for Brooke, including those two poems.

    Thank you so much. xx

I don't use Facebook. This is what you do: Pull up a particular poem. See the address at the top of your screen. For example, we' now at fanstory.com.

Right click with your mouse to make the address bold. Then use your mouse to copy and paste. The best way for me to be sure to see it is to send it to me in a PM.

Yep, I've done it and it hasn't worked, but I will try it again right now. Give me a minute and I will send it to you. Thank you, Lou.

That's not a link, girl. Try again, haha. I'm signing off for now. Got stuff to do.

Oh, but it is when it says"display story" -- I've had someone here send me theirs. Am I copying too much of that https address, maybe? Anyway, don't worry about it. I wrote to Tom again. If I get it sorted out I will send you the links you said you wished I had included.

Beautifully said by her own words it is the way she would want us to remberemembering her saying in her passing away. She done it her way!

Yes, she did it her way apparently, and there's not a lot more to ask, I guess, than to leave life on our own terms. There is comfort in knowing that, CRW. Still, we miss her.

Thank you very much, my friend.

I don't think Brooke knew she was writing her epitaph. I have written many for others, but, as yet, not for my self. Yes, I found her as you did, it's interesting to note, that she still was ranked number five, although she was taken ill in May 2015. In fact the rankings still remain on the old site's page. Beautifully done, very sad and thoughtfully compassionate of you, dawn, blessings, Roy

A very well-written heartfelt announcement and a very beautiful poem from Brooke about how she wish to die, and it is definitely a very good way to go and to hope that our loved ones will remember us in their hearts forever.

Oh WOW, Tears fell as I read her poem. God Bless her, she did help us all. Never said an unkind word and left us with beautiful memories in her poetry. She will no doubt have an eternal flame and she will still be there to read and learn from. God bless her family and friends. We loved her. Nancy:)

Me too, as I read, Nancy. Thank you again. I will return later today to do some reviewing (God willing) but right now I'm going to lie down. xx

A beautiful tribute, Dawn -- there are no other appropriate words when a friend has lost a friend of whom the first has no knowledge....in reading her poem, it is evident that she lived rightly and brightly and found peace in the Light. :) :) My heart is open for you today, O Lady of the North....nothing else need be said. Thank you for sharing her and, as always, your heart. :) Yvette

Thank you for the notification. I am extremely saddened by this news. She was a dear friend who I laughed with and talked with often. She edited my books for me. I enjoyed reading her poems, they were always perfect. I have no words.

My thoughts are with family and friends of Brooke Baldwin. May she rest in peace. There is always the thought we wish we could have said or done more but I think she said it all in her poem. Blessings. Shirley
