Well, that picture isn't from 1993. I love old pictures and tip toeing through nostalgia :) Sorry about your toe. I pour through Pinterest for pictures to inspire my poems. They have a ton of great pictures to search through.

My aunt was a photo nut with a box camera that developed tiny pictures with little resolution...she gave an album to her sister-in-law, my mom...she stopped snapping sometime before world war two. I don't know those folks. Everyone who did is dead.
Make nice antiquey art for FS, though. Thanks for reading my verses about today, Mar. 13

You are one of the most unique and entertaining poets I have the pleasure to read here on FS -- I know I said about your reviews, but your personality just shines so brightly through your poetry, the reader cannot help but smile! :) ;) These quatrains are no exception...from today to back then to today once more... love your humor and your pic choice.... yet another layer of a smile wrapped in your warmth! ;) ;) Hope this doesn't upset you, but THANK YOU! :) :) For the frowns and the frowns and the 'what in the worlds'.... :) Thanx for sharing! ;) Yvette

Thank you very much for reading and reviewing my poem of the day...I hope I can give people a smile or a thought...Fanstory has become my hobby since I realized I have no determination to publish...my mom was given a stack of pictures by her sister in law, and I do not know most of the people in them...all pre-WWII...

I like this very much. It flows very well. It rhymes well. I like how the geezer wails. I believe it is from frost bite from a while back. Because he woke up in snow hip deep. Very well done.

Geezer blundered into something, killed the nail, and it would not drop off, so the doc gave him a local and excised the thing...old equipment takes lots of repairs...thanks very much for reading my poem of the day, Mar 13.

You made me smile about your toe! He he he, that snow fall sounded horrendous in 1993. Britain has the worst snowfall ever in 1962/63 and I remember the snow drifts on our back door and we had to dig ourselves out of our house! Great rhymes here and I hope the toe is okay! Love Dolly x

I kicked something and the toenail died, then would not drop off...so my doc put the blade to it. Local anesthetic, no severe pain.
So here I sit ,trying to write something...thanks very much for reading my verses about the 13th of March...my mom had a fat album full of people I did not know...ca 1930...

The introduction of your toe into this bucolic scene gives it a suitable kick up the arse, as is only appropriate when talking of catastrophic spring blizzards and assassination.

I blundered into something and the nail died, then would not drop off, so the doc excised it...as serious to me as the unkindest cut of all and the current winter cyclone up north...but I am partially grounded, and wish I could write...thanks for reading my verses about March 13...

Sorry to hear that, Red. Sounds pretty painful.
