The Other Door is a well-written poem that uses the door as a metaphor for opportunities. In this story, the open door represents new opportunities new choice or the closed-door represents the more mundane, more of the same.

It is true that the weather has an affect on the mood of the beholder, this, of course should not be, I believe emotions were given as servants, not masters, however they are a very strong influence in our lives, but still, the morning brings a new day, beautifully written Val, and excellent post, blessings, Roy

What a lovely presentation! In picture and words you have captured the essence of opportunity, when we can step into welcoming light to be embraced by positivity and hope, leaving despair behind. Sometimes another door is opened by someone else to help us, sometimes we have to give it a shove ourselves, sometimes it is just luck being in the right place at the right time. But with the right attitude we can experience that heart-expanding sensation of freedom to choose the best for ourselves.
