Hey, Yvette. I enjoyed reading your verse for the CinQuain prompt. I like it that you make it seem that at midnight, if we are very careful, we can see into the beyond... haha.. a fanciful notion on my part. You may not have meant that at all. LOL. A beautiful write.

I'm not sure if you meant to use precipice. The way I read it i took it mean the mid-point between the night and early morning not a steep faced cliff.

Good afternoon MRW & CQ - A very nice Cinquain for the contest Yvette, I like the photo, it reminds me of a place and time that I will share with you Beautiful teacher. So way back when I was a teenager I went to a horseback riding camp with my best friend in Illinois. She and I got to go on overnight and camp outside under the stars. The trees and star view that this picture shows looks exactly like the clearing where we stayed. We were woken by a wild pony in the area that I was lucky enough to ride without a saddle. it was a very special event. As the horse woke me up out of my sleep looking for an apple I had packed in my sack. No one else in the camp was able to get close to the pony but me. The clearing was beautiful and the sky looked just like this photo. Good luck in the contest. Cheers, Fonda
