This is quite a poem. It is, obviously to personal to worry about how it works for other readers. So many questions and so many things to ponder. This reminds me of a little kid, letting its imagination run completely wild and exploring its ability to understand the many, many whys, that kids seem to be full of. Interesting, amusing, and imaginary.

WOW! Now, somebody's imagination is in over-load this morning!! ;) And, being asked to choose, I would narrow it down to between 'breathing through pores' [being able to smell and feel at the same time .... pretty cool!] and 'living forever' [think our minds would actually have an expiration date even if the body didn't...].
