In a heartbeat, Bucketlist. There's a very fine line between love and hate and this poem encapsulates those feelings very succinctly. Nice job and good luck in the contest.

This is unfortunately what happens when divorce looms, those who were once in love now hate each other with the same passion, it is sad, but that's life, love Dolly x

A very well-written three-line poem about the love relationship can quickly change when there is no respect and honesty which will lead to a definite divorce and a feeling of hate toward each other.

Okay, I know it wasn't a funny poem, but that picture cracked me up! ;) :) But the poem so much plays out true life in so many cases...even those that claim to have a 'civil divorce' display flashes of those darker emotions... Great write, Trisha, and best of luck to you in the contest! ;) ;) Yvette

very cute illustration accompanies your contest restricted verse
you surely describe a reality for some divorcing couples
what I like:
centered text
... people who love
the satori-like last line
suggestions to ponder:
need for capitalization for such a short verse?
Mark Twain has a saying about using 'metropolis' for seven cents, while 'city' gets less. As such, 'mentioned' is fine and known by all, but a shorter length word such as 'cited' might include an extra legal connotation for your verse.
