I think its a great prayer and the voice comes off as very honest and heart felt. Very sincere and earnest. We all need to put God first, live as He would want us to live, in peace, with respect for each other and with a view towards the spiritual and eternal. to have the courage to have that respect for each other, instead of giving in to old fears and prejudice. estory

I really appreciate this incentive in your poem, and a reminder for us to turn to God and reflect on Him in our nation. Some of your word choices like 'liver' for me doesn't seem to work well in this category of poem. I think it can be refined more and polished as it seem only a final rough draft. Otherwise, there's some very important points that stand out and make for a very wise and should-be-read poem for us readers.
