Lovely presentation of your Cinquain Trish and very wise words to. When the early years of love and romance settle compatibility and friendship becomes very important, as you say, the missing link for some. Very nicely said,

Wow -- actually very sage advice, ma'am -- although, from what I observe in the youth of today, there isn't a real concern for compatibility because they can't seem to get past putting the other person first even when their own 'feelings of love' involved. :( This is a wonderful cinquain, Trisha!! :) :) Thanx so much for sharing! :) :) Yvette

I am always so impressed with how you present your poems. This one is strikingly beautiful with that soft pink that perfectly complements the sky. You should have been a designer.
Your poem is good as well. I just wanted to say the designer part before I forgot. Compatibility is the key to relationships. I think that people need to be as much alike as possible. I guess that would be super compatibility.

Yes, compatibility is "The Key" to "The missing link" of loving relationships. Without it, there is so much uphill climbing, to reach completeness, which is hard to achieve, without compatibility. The Pinterest photo is lovely, and displays a romantic scene, well suited, to this Cinquain. I love the hat, on the woman, sharing the swing with her partner. Well written and so true. Thank you for sharing, your wise philosophy, on love relationships.

Yes, compatibility is "The Key" to "The missing link" of loving relationships. Without it, there is so much uphill climbing, to reach completeness, which is hard to achieve, without compatibility. The Pinterest photo is lovely, and displays a romantic scene, well suited, to this Cinquain. I love the hat, on the woman, sharing the swing with her partner. Well written and so true.
