Sally this is so close to my heart. I am a Christian , a preacher's wife. I can see this happening. It's very close to home. My husband preaches the whole counsel of God and he loves people. It could happen to us very easily

Thank you, dear Jenny. It is a shocking article, but really, the chance of this happening is at our door. Christians and our esteemed values have been under assault for years now and it has escalated in the last two years. Look what is happening with abortion, now legal to full term in several states and more desiring to make it a state law. My post is not far fetched?at all.

Our freedom is on the line and we still have to defend it a s per usual. People want to take our religion away because they fear our. For God'sake we all pray to the same God just in different ways.

Thank you for the excellent review and insightful comments.Yes, my son was in China for a year and it is far worse there and many other nations. We are going to be tasting more and more. Christian hatred is rising in the United States, even those with conservative values are feeling it, too.

Thank you Dolly for the excellent review and insight. It is shocking, but Christians have increasingly become the brunt of jokes on television, called into question for the esteemed values. Late night television and talk shows are the worst. At colleges and universities, conservative speakers are shut down and not permitted to speak at lectures. Radical democrats are calling for the harassment of anyone who voted for Trump. Young Catholic high school boys were just on the news and now proven to be innocent of any wrongdoing. Simply wearing a MAGA cap. Yet, actors and media personalities are still harassing them. This is just a few things in recent weeks.
Gladys Knight was called into question for singing the national anthem! Good grief...

Thank you, Bob. Although fiction, this is coming from a place very real to me. We are moving quickly to the day when Christians and the values we hold will be ?deplorable? to the world. I think I was called that in 2016. Just recently, Catholic high school students verbally defamed by the mainstream media for wearing a MAGA cap. Even after the video showed clearly there was no wrongdoing, the media and Hollywood actors continued to try to ruin them. These are high school students, attacked verbally by adults who know better. Politicians calling for the harassment of Trump supporters. Conservative speakers banned from college campuses. Is this not the land of free speech, even for a conservative? It is not looking good for the Christian here in America, growing worse by the day. Even my conservative friends who are not Christians, but hold values, feel it.
I used the term so-called god as a secular view of A god, not THE Almighty God. This court in this future scene does not recognize the Almighty God. I did go back and capitalize it, as I did not want to offend anyone or my Lord. Thank you for that input.
