I love this new venture if yours already. Good reading and got me totally absorbed in it for sure. The good thing is, on this occasion there are absolutely no spags. I love the way it is going and the Cast (characters are) is good too. Can't remember if you are up to the trips chapters or not.

Barbara,

I really enjoyed this chapter (ending.) I think I may enjoy this plot even more than the last one. I like this kind of story more. I do think the chemistry here is already working??? *smile* Thanks!

So....quite a bit chemistry between the two of them...even though she wouldn't admit it. Logan's a good alpha-guy...the best kind there is! ;) ;) LOL! Would suggest looking at the quotation marks in that first 'real' paragraph there in the beginning (the one starting with 'Logan put a trashcan...'). Thanx for sharing - look forward to the next installment! ;) :) Yvette

She must have been drugged, but by whom? And why? Someone must know what she's up to and want to stop her. Do they know her or just that she's following them? Guess we'll wait and see. :)

A strong 'take no prisoners' write. Good characters who each have their own voice. 'Trashcan' should maybe be two words/ I like where this seems to be going. DJ

This was a good chapter, Barbara. It's a very interesting mystery as to why she was drugged. Good thing he was following her. You building the suspense and introducing questions nicely. Only a couple of minor nits:

"First what were you doing at that pub?" (First, what...)

So I wasn't following you, per say. (per se)

I liked this chapter. I will have to back track and read the other chapters so I will know what is going on. I plan to become a fan of yours. I met my quota of becoming a fan for today so I have to wait until tomorrow. Fan Story has certain weird rules. I noticed when you wrote down the names and who they are you didn't put down the Great Dane or whatever big dog that Logan met up with. hehe
Happy Writing, Katy Moffitt

Good dialog, interesting plot. Among some of the best writers I have know, I notice a tendency of sometimes they use quick entries to make it flow used often, I do the same and have been scolded by my tutors toward cliches etc. Penthouse, dogs, sizes, etc now this can be a good thing and sometimes not so good. Story lne can be a bummer however you seemed to bring it together in time and the reader waits for it to happen. I am nobody to ever correct a write as you. My blessings to you.

Hello Barb
before I tell you of why I like this chapter.
(Please correct me if I missed read your introduction -
While wanting to place trust in Logan, McKenzie searches for his sister's murderer. McKenzie doesn't believe anybody wants to harm her, but Logan feels it's his job to protect her from the threats.
in this part you said -
While wanting to place trust in Logan, McKenzie searches for his sister's murderer (I wonder if you meant to say
While wanting to place trust in Logan, McKenzie searches for (her) sister's murderer.
My reaction to you excellent mystery/murder story-
I still don't trust Logan even if he is kind and very protective to McKenzie.
Gert

It's Logan's sister who was murdered. Logan's father hired McKenzie to find her murder. Thank you for the kind review.

This is going great. Mac doesn't know what hit her. The bartender confirmed she only drank lemon and water. I don't blame her for being a bit suspicious of Logan following her, but it was a good thing he did. Someone seems to be a few steps ahead of Mac and wants her out of the way. If she was drugged, what was it and who did it? Very intriguing. judi
