I love the story. I can't picture Mildred killing anybody.

Mildred came home the next day after James gave her the all-clear. (I know I've mentioned it before but it's the following day, it has to do with definition according to an editor.)

I can't picture Mildred murdering some one either, Barbara, lol. I've changed 'next' to 'following' and yes, you have mentioned it to me before, but my memory is getting worse!! I was asked the other day, how come I can remember all the names of my characters, but can't remember those I see at the gym three days a week!! LOL. Thank you so much for the lovely 6 stars my friend, and the lovely review. I'm just so pleased you are enjoying the story. Big hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

Mildred still has to kill the Vice Admiral. The PTB sure take her for granted. She's overworked and SHOULD go on strike. LOL! The PTB wouldn't force her to do their bidding, would they? They almost let her die. I hope they're more careful now.

Thank you so very much, Phyllis for the lovely six stars, and yes, I agree, those PTB are taking Veronica for granted.
I can't see Mildred being able to kill a fly, let alone the Vice Admiral, lol, but something has to be done. hmmm. Thanks, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

Ah, a bit of calm and restoration...finally! Me old heart couldn't take much more! :-)

Wow, you've really freaked Mildred out, with her next assignment, as far as you understand it.

I'm hoping someone intervenes and does the nasty deed for her.

I know, poor Mildred will be wondering what she's done to deserve this awful treatment. Thank you dear friend for another fun review and all the pretty stars. :)) Sandra xxxx

Hi, Sandra,

Thank you for bringing them home and letting Mildred be okay. I was worried about the poor dear.

However, killing the man could be beyond Mildred's sensibilities. It takes a certain kind of person to kill, and she may have to kill him in cold blood. This should be interesting,

I know, it take a 'Jill' and Mildred certainly isn't like her!! LOL! Thank you so much, Patty, for your lovely review. It was time for them to come home for a while. Big hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

This is exciting. I haven't read this from the beginning but you truly know how to weave an intriguing story. To me writing a novel is tapestry making. You do it brilliantly
Well penned. I'm so glad Mildred is ok
God bless

What a lovely review, thank you so much, Jenny. I've never thought of story writing in that way before, but, you're right. Some books I've read have been just like that, so thank you for the compliment! And a super big hug for the 6 stars! :)) Sandra xxx

This continues to enthrall me. I worked Hospice for years and had a beloved man in my care. I used to call him "old sausage", something learned from my Grandma. He loved it and I haven't heard that expression in years, so seeing it here warmed the cockles of me heart!

Aw, thank you, Miss Sherry. That expression has always been used in my family, my mum would often call me a silly sausage when I'd said or done something funny, or silly! lol. I'd hate to see those expressions disappear. I'm so pleased you enjoyed it, and that it warmed the cockles of your heart! That's another expression my mum used, and so did her mum. Big hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx
