This 2-3-2, Walk of Serenity, has the syllables set up correctly and puts the mind at a curious ease as teh mind finds the light in the darkness.

Your seven syllables are effectively used here to describe that rare moment
of peace in nature, accessible only when one is alone and the only sounds,
if any, come from nature.

Good evening, Janice. Your comments indicate that you found no errors in the poem; however, the rating of 'four' is for a post that needs some mechanical or other corrections to bring it up to the standard of a 'five'. Could you please tell me what you would recommend changing or fixing so that next time I will have a better idea of how to construct a 2-3-2..? Thank you very much for your assistance. :) :)
-
The 4 is a mistake! I intended to give a 5. I don't know how I managed that. I will change that rating. I'm glad you said something. Janice
-
It's now a 5! :-)

Thank you, Janice -- I'm one of those crazy people always looking to improve if I can but on a 2-3-2 I thought "Oh, no! What did I do on THAT one!?!" Thank you for clarifying and have a wonderful evening! ;) ;)

You too!

You just got my vote. I've been on a quest of peace and simplicity has been my solution. This is demonstrated in the picture representing this as well as the simple wording. Writing a meaningful poem with so few words is a challenge, but you nailed it.

Beautiful and peaceful. It makes me sigh. Good job of putting a lot into so few words.
The picture adds a lot too. It makes this look almost like a death--walking toward the light.

I can never get over how much can be conveyed in just seven syllables! This is a fantastic poem, and I love the graphic you chose to go with it. Good luck with this excellent entry. I bet you'll do very well.

This short poem is a good entry for this contest in my opinion. In so few syllables you describe a peaceful scene of a person walking through the peaceful night. Your picture works well with this poem. Thank you for sharing.

There are few things on earth that are more serene than a solitary walk through a dense copse of forest and trees in the wee hours of the early morning.
I do it every single day with Gidget, my grumpy old female Chihuahua.
In fact, we just got back about fifteen minutes ago. It made this review rather easy to write.
Nice 2-3-2 poem.
Best wishes to you in the contest.

Hello Anon
A quite atmospheric piece this. Well done. By association - or default - I first read the second line as "...midnight's breath..." which works too.
It is very difficult to stand out in these short forms - which are always well contested - but I wish you well with this. As I say: it is atmospheric, which is something difficult to achieve in such a small place.
cheers
