This poem gives me a somewhat somber feeling because even though I love my family sometimes for sure I yearn for peace and quiet. Thank you for sharing. Great piece.

Hello Eric
Nothing wrong here. It is an interesting topic.
I suppose that we each navigate through life the best we can, and with luck it will be in a manner that suit sour character, without causing harm to anyone.
I am sure you are aware that 'robot' is a Czech word for 'slave' - which is very appropriate to your take on things I think.
The last line seems a beat short to me (it may be my reading and/or accent) " For me that's so much more..." runs better (a small point)
I wish you well with your continued writing
