Great ending to this 100 word flash fiction story Maria. I wasn't expecting this superhero mum to be in a wheelchair, but, heroes come in all shapes, sizes etc. Great little story,
]cheers,

A very well-written hundred word flash fiction about our dreams of being a super hero and without realizing it we are heroes within our hearts when danger lurks we don't hesitate to rescue someone who is in danger.

What a wonderful and inspiring story even though it is fiction. I think fiction can encourage a person. It's strange and it's a wonder what some people do with a subjects. Great stuff, Miria.

Excellent little story. An impressive way to become an authentic action superhero, in the outside world as well as in a child's eyes.
Now that the hero of the story has proved she can move like lightning in a wheelchair, I think the next step should be to enter the Paralympics Games and be a superstar sports super hero!!

Wow!
You mean you're a super hero too, Maria?
I never knew that; that's soooooo cool because so am I!
What is your super heroine name?
Me? I'm SOGGY.
No, not my adult diaper--that's my hero name.
It stands for Super Old Guy Getting You. SOGGY
Ya know, it really is a small world after all, isn't it?
Good luck with your crime fighting career and the contest!

Absolutely awesome. I wish I could just leave it at that, because it sums it up so succinctly...but Fanstory says that that short a critique is not helpful. Ha. As if.

Hi Maria :)
I really enjoyed your story.
You do these short ones so well - always managing to get the whole shebang sorted in just a few words. I love how the child already sees mum/dad as a superhero - parents really are the whole world to their kids.
The ending reads nothing less than heroic.
A fab little story.
Good luck in the contest.
Best wishes as always, Debra :)

I think there's quite definitely a potential superhero in our imaginations, if not able to be be parlayed, and even more so because this dear lady did it in a wheel chair. (I've got a a 2year old grandson, he's a sweet boy) well done Maria. Blessings, Roy
