This is one of the very best 20-syllable poems I have seen. Beautiful overall presentation. Through your words, I can picture the snow-covered grounds, and your words actually have a peaceful, calming effect.

Winter is a time of year where you find out what one's character is all about. You can pull winter towards you and enjoy it's aspects of crisp air, gleaming white fields of diamonds and a warm fire to make it even better. Or on the other hand, you can use winter as an excuse to do almost nothing. I like your take on it. Very nice illustration.

I like this image and I like the writing that seems to adorn every pile of snow in the picture. The old barn seems to be saying. . .another winter is here, one more season before my boards crumble back to the earth. I do so love old barns, they always have a story to tell. Good luck, nice job.
