Congratulations on your placing in the contest. Your poem is very cleaver. Well done. I am curious of you opinion of my choice of topics? Rickie

Ha, ha, ha My placing was near the last. But I entered the contest for something to inspire me to write. I have entered a cell phone contest before. We all know the overwhelming power that cell phones have charged onto the market with. The topic was okay.

I enter contests for the same reason.

just OK :-( I'm open to suggestions?

This is the second cell phone contest I was in. For me I kind of find the topic common. Everybody has one and there is always talk of how people rely on them so much. To me that is just ok. Maybe something like you find a cell phone and someone calls asking for help...No one is around so what do you do? Make up a senario of what they need help for?

Make up a story where you find a cell phone and someone is asking for help.

This was a very enjoyable read which I especially can relate. You see, I am one of the few people on this earth who does not own a cell phone. I can't stand the Buzzes, the Rings, or the Pings. All the Best.

You're lucky to not rely on a cell.

Hi there,
I am truly enjoying the different ways the poets are framing the discussion on cell phones and their intrusive presence. On one hand, I hate them, and on the other, I'm thankful to always have my phone with me and never miss a call. (Though, I do tend to screen my calls.)
Thank you for sharing your contest entry and good luck to you,
